Sofia Bollo did her Ph.D. in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program Asia and Europe at the University of Zurich. Her research on museums in China draws together different academic disciplines and her thesis focuses particularly on museum-elaborated narratives on China's prehistoric past and on the interpretation and representation of archaeological collections in museum in China in the present. She holds a BA in Chinese Language and Culture from the University of Turin and a MA in Chinese Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. She gained working experience in event management as well as in diverse museum institutions and concluded several training courses in project management.
