Mala Walz obtained her Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology in 2021 from the University of Zurich, where she is currently completing her Master's degree in the same disciplines. She works as a research assistant at the Chair of Swiss Politics and Comparative Political Economy and is currently mainly involved in data analyses within the ERC project "welfarepriorities".
Since 2020, she has also been working as a research assistant on various projects in Prof. Dr. David Kaufmann's interdisciplinary research group Spatial Development and Urban Policy at ETH Zurich, during which time she was also employed as a tutor for the two-semester "Political Systems and Theories" lectures at the Department of Political Science.
