Iryna Lukianova is a post-doctoral researcher at the Chair of International Relations and International Political Economy. She obtained her PhD at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a dissertation on the soft power and niche diplomacy of middle powers. Her research interests focus on the study of state fragility and the causes and consequences of war. Before joining IPZ, Iryna worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine from 2021 to 2022.
