Curriculum vitae
Jochen Rehmert has obtained his PhD from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin in 2019 and has been a research and teaching fellow at the Department of Social Sciences at the Humboldt-University Berlin afterwards. Until 2024, he has been a research and teaching fellow at the Department of Political Science in Zurich (IPZ). In 2024, he has started his SNF-Ambizione Grant at the University of Basel and has been an associated researcher at the IPZ. His research interests revolve around the topics of candidate selection in political parties, legislative and coalition politics. He also has a focus on Japanese politics.
