Pia Boehme studied East Asian Economics and Politics (B.A.) at Ruhr University Bochum and Ewha Womans University in Seoul. Thereafter, she completed a Master's degree in Modern Asian and Middle Eastern Studies and Gender Studies at the University of Zurich. Since 2023, she has been Liaison Librarian at the University Library of Zurich, where she is responsible for the Department of Political Science. Her tasks include acquisitions and collection development, advising students on research and literature management and supporting researchers in using the services of the Library and Zentralbibliothek of the University Zurich. She also assists lecturers in teaching about academic writing.
