Curriculum vitae

Marine Benli-Trichet graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science from Sciences Po Grenoble between 2011 and 2015. She then specialized in Public Administration and European Governance in a franco-German dual Master program between Sciences Po Grenoble and the University of Konstanz between 2015 and 2017. In addition to her studies, she worked for two years as a research assistant at the Sciences Po Paris Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics. Marine Benli-Trichet has been an assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair for Democracy Research and Public Governance at the University of Zurich since September 2018. As part of her dissertation project, she examines the bureaucratic politics around civic technology projects in Western European cities. She is interested in urban politics and policy, digital democracy and smart cities and public policy analysis. In addition to her research, Marine Benli-Trichet has been teaching a module at the Bachelor level entitled "«Smart cities: transforming governance through digitization.” since Fall 2020.  She has also been carrying out the evaluation of the participatory budgeting pilot project of the city of Lausanne between April 2020 and December 2021.
