Valeria Vuk works on digital democracy and online political participation. From 2022 to 2026, she was a PhD researcher at the Chair of Political Methodology, where she worked in the interdisciplinary research project “Large-Scale Political Participation: Issue Identification, Deliberation, and Co-creation” (Digital Deliberative Democracy). Her PhD thesis, “Citizen Participation in the Digital Age: The Impact of Online Political Participation on Democracy,” focused on the impact of online political participation on democracy.

Valeria Vuk is currently working on the evaluation of DigiSanté, the Swiss federal government’s digitalisation programme for the health sector, which aims to enable the seamless exchange of health data across systems.
