Curriculum vitae

Born in 1977 in Lucerne. Silja Häusermann studied Political Science at the University of Geneva from 1997 to 2001, after which she completed a post-graduate Master of Public Administration MPA at the Institut de hautes études en administration publique in Lausanne. 2000-2007 research and teaching assistant at the University of Lausanne and later on at the University of Zurich, PhD in 2007 from the University of Zurich. 2006 visiting fellow at the Government Department of Harvard University in Cambridge, USA. 2007-2011 post-doc researcher in comparative politics at the University of Zurich. 2008-2009 Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. 2011-2012 assistant professor in Political Science at the University of Konstanz, Germany. Since September 2012 Full Professor of Swiss Politics and Comparative political Economy at the Institute for Political Science of the University Zurich.
