Perisan Kevci is a PhD researcher in the Department of Political Science at the University of Zürich since fall of 2023. Perisan obtained her Master’s Degree in Media and Communication Studies from Malmö University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from Stockholm University. Her PhD project is supervised by Prof. Donnay and Prof. Strauss. Perisan investigates the discursive construction of political violence and extremism — how ideological narratives are produced and circulated across media systems, and how their reception shapes radicalization pathways and public understandings of conflict.
