Perisan Kevci is a PhD researcher in the Department of Political Science at the University of Zürich since fall of 2023. Perisan obtained her Master’s Degree in Media and Communication Studies from Malmö University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from Stockholm University. Her PhD project is supervised by Prof. Donnay and Prof. Strauss. Perisan examines how communication shapes politics. Specifically, she investigates how ideological narratives are produced, circulated, and received through media systems, and how these processes influence political behavior, extremism, conflict, and state responses.
