Curriculum vitae

Paolo Agnolin is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Political Science (IPZ) at the University of Zurich where he works in Professor Thomas Kurer’s research group “Inequality and Politics” and is affiliated to the URPP "Equality of Opportunity".

Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Initiative on Contemporary European Affairs (ICEA) at Princeton University. At Princeton, he was also Principal Investigator of the project "Collective Agreements in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" within the Initiative for Data-Driven Social Science (DDSS).

He received his Ph.D. in Public Policy from Bocconi University, where he also taught a course on inequality, and was a Visiting Scholar at Duke University.

His research lies at the intersection of comparative politics, political economy, and the politics of labor and inequality. He is particularly interested in how structural economic change and technological innovation reshape societies and influence both the demand and supply sides of politics in post-industrial societies.
