Curriculum vitae

Karsten Donnay received a PhD in Computational Social Science from ETH Zurich in 2014. After postdoctoral positions at the Graduate Institute Geneva and the University of Maryland, he was Assistant Professor of Computational Social Science in the Department of Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz from 2016 to 2020 before joining the Department of Political Science as an Assistant Professor in 2020. Since August 1, 2026 he is Associate Professor of Digital Democracy. As part of the Digital Society Initiative of the University of Zurich he and his team investigate the impact of digitalization on politics.
