Fabienne Eisenring is a doctoral candidate and assistant at the Chair of Swiss Politics and Comparative Political Economy. Her research interest are educational divides, group politics and conflicts over social policies in the knowledge society.
She obtained her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Philosophy in 2020 and her Master’s in Political Science in 2022 from the University of Zurich. In her Master’s thesis, she studied how expectations about the future and perceived distributive effects of policies impact voters’ social policy priorities. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant in the ERC project “welfarepriorities” in the team of Prof. Dr. Silja Häusermann. She also worked as a tutor for the courses “Political Behavior” (Fall 2021) and “Political Systems and Theories” (Fall 2021 to Spring 2023).
