Vaibhav Krishna is a computational social scientist whose research examines individual and collective dynamics in social networks using computational methods and machine learning. His work focuses on social influence, belief formation, learning, and diffusion of misinformation in digitally mediated environments.
He is currently a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) Return Fellow at the University of Zurich, where he investigates how network structures shape opinion dynamics and information flow. Previously, he was an SNSF Postdoc Mobility Fellow at the Human Nature Lab at Yale University. He received his Ph.D. in Information Systems from ETH Zurich, an M.S. in Statistics from ETH Zurich, and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. Prior to academia, he worked as a data scientist in the banking, FMCG, and e-commerce sectors.
