Curriculum vitae

Linus is a doctoral candidate in the research area “Governance of Global Inequalities” and the URPP project “Contested Representation of Global Inequalities”, which he joined in September 2025. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bayreuth in 2022 and his master’s degree in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz in 2025. His research interests revolve mainly around the topics of political elites, political behavior, migration and climate change. In his master’s thesis, he studied the attitudes towards climate migrants of legislative staffers conducting survey experiments and collecting original survey data. During his studies in Konstanz, Linus also worked as a research assistant on two projects within the Cluster of Excellence “Politics of Inequality”, including the project “Political Elites and Inequality”.
