Qualification position with framework duties: Independent implementation of research projects, co-supervision of Master's theses and dissertations if applicable, collaboration in teaching and research, collaboration in other chair tasks if applicable. Prerequisite is a successful dissertation.

The tasks of postdoctoral researchers include:

  • Independent implementation of research projects 
  • Acquisition of third-party funding
  • Activities in connection with teaching and other chair tasks
  • Co-supervision of Master's theses and, if applicable, dissertations
  • Conducting their own courses 

The level of employment for postdoctoral researchers at the IPZ is 80%. The possible time limit is a maximum of three years, depending on whether the postdoctoral researcher is employed on a project or holds a professorship, with extensions up to a maximum of six years (professorship).
